We Provide Housing, Care and Services
Valley Cares, Inc. is a community- based 501(c)(3) which provides affordable housing and supportive services to the elderly residents of the West River Valley and surrounding towns. In 2007 we developed West River Valley Senior Housing, 24 independent living apartments and 28 assisted living apartments located on Grafton Road in Townshend, VT. In 2013 we added 12 supportive housing apartments.
In our Assisted Living Facility we provide:
- Medication management Overseen by RN
- 24-hour residential care
- Assistance with Activities of Daily Living
- 3 Nutritious and delicious meals daily

In the Supportive Housing wing of our Assisted Living we offer:
- Property maintenance
- Access to all of the above listed assisted living services
(fee-for-service)
In our Independent Living Facility we provide:
- Property maintenance
- SASH (Support And Services at Home)
We also provide the following community services:
- Free Lending Library of Durable Medical Equipment to those recovering from an operation or illness.
