West River Valley Assisted Living

West River Valley Assisted Living

West River Valley Assisted Living is a licensed assisted living program providing up to Enhanced Residential Care Tier III level of care through the Vermont Medicaid Waiver Choices for Care program. A registered nurse oversees care planning and medication management, while a resident care staff, on site 24/7, provides assistance with activities of daily living, cleaning, laundry service, and transportation to medical appointments. A fully-staffed commercial kitchen provides full meal service.

Valley Cares Assisted LivingA range of stimulating recreational and leisure activities are also offered. Residents regularly get together to play Bingo, Pokeno, and other fun games. We hold exercise classes and Bible study groups several times a week. In warm weather, residents enjoy gardening on-site and have provided the kitchen with an abundance of fresh produce and flowers. Feeling a little creative? Volunteers lead art classes, and residents make beaded earrings to sell at the local farmers market. We have a piano in our living room, and enjoy much live music provided by residents as well as visiting musicians. We also offer outings to nearby attractions and events.
